Cast Acrylic Sheets
Cast acrylic, as the name suggests, is manufactured by a process whereby MMA
(Methyl Methacrylate monomer) liquid is pumped into a mould made from two sheets of
glass. Cast Acrylic sheets tend to have a greater variance on thickness tolerance. Surface
finish is as smooth as glass, since it was cast. Cast Acrylic Sheets lend themselves to ease of
fabrication. When laser cut produce a highly polished edge, thus reducing finishing times
when fabricating. When hot wire line bending, Cast Acrylic Sheets are more malleable.

PMMA Acrylic Sheets
PMMA Acrylic sheets are manufactured by a continuous production process.
PMMA pellets are fed from a containment silo to a feed hopper above an extruder line.
PMMA Acrylic sheets have a better tolerance on thickness. Surface finish is glossy and
smooth. These sheets are as much as ten times more resistant to impact than glass so they
are recommended for greenhouse glazing, shed and garage windows and indoor
applications such as office screens and dividers. Clear, Opal and black are amongst the more
standard colours produced.

Acrylic Mirror
Acrylic Mirror is a lightweight, reflective thermoplastic sheet material used to enhance the look and safety of displays, POP, signage, and a variety of fabricated parts. Acrylic mirror is ideal for retail, food, advertising, and security applications. The surface is highly reflective mirrored with a grey backing on the reverse. The impact resistance of these sheets are 10 times greater than the equivalent glass mirror. Unlike some traditional glass mirrors, Acrylic Mirror is shatterproof. Acrylic Mirror is flexible so must be applied to a perfectly flat surface to minimize the chance of distortion.
